I think most us dreamt of having a doll house or kitchen set when we were younger. I remember the time when I used to pretend to be a chef. I made my own pasta and bread using modelling clay then served them to my dolls and nameless━ my favorite teddy bear. Now, that I'm a mother to an adorable little girl, I want her to have a beautiful plaything of her own.
Our little chef is ready. It was more than a year ago. On a Monday afternoon, I was about to prepare fish fillet for lunch. And as always, I bring my little helper in the kitchen when I cook. You see, cooking back then was very challenging. My husband is at work and we don't have a nanny/helper and Andie always cry looking for me. So, I always bring her with me with a couple of toys to keep her busy while I cook. I always noticed how observant she was, she looks at me when I get something from the cupboard or when I'm checking the food on the stove. Then, I noticed how she imitates me. She held her telephone like it was a spoon and placed it inside the bucket of her stacking toys and started mixing and flipping. So, I thought she needed a good kitchen play set.
I went online searching for days. I found a lot of sellers offering wooden playthings which is popular nowadays. I ended up scrolling through the Facebook Page of House of Madison which is an online shop of fun and educational wooden playthings. Aside from kitchen set, they have world flags, vanity set, workbench, toy storage and their famous and best selling doll houses. I browsed through their collections of kitchen play set and I fell in love with their Japanese house style kitchen set because of its features, quality and design.

The Japanese House Style Kitchen Play Set: The name obviously speaks for itself. It's basically the perfect little house kitchen for your little one. It measures 62 cm wide and 72 cm tall. There's tons of counter space for the kids to work with and enough storage where they can put away their kitchen toys. It includes a clock that will help you teach your child how to tell time. A microwave, hooks for kitchen utensils, stove tops, sink, an oven, a dish rack with four slots and a washer. There are accessories that comes with it like pot and pan with lid, two spatulas and a knife, rice cooker, plate and some condiments.
I consider this a good investment because it is durable and it will last for years. I love the quality and the idea that we can always be creative with it and turn it into a project. Especially for mommies who likes to make things personalized. You can change the paint color and handles or even add lighting.

We love everything about it! Andie's learning a lot just by playing with it. Aside from it helps limit screen time, it taught her basic things like caring for her toys, the functions of each section; what the condiments are for, how to turn the knobs, and even good practices like washing hands and even putting away dishes and laundry.
