Andie's New Friend, Rizmo!

Hey! Andie found herself a new friend from outer space, and this cute little creature is called Rizmo!

What is Rizmo?

Rizmo is a product by TOMY. It's a musical evolving interactive plush toy that requires care, dancing and lots of singing and music. It has three stages of transformation: baby, kid and a fully grown Rizmo. This interactive toy is designed and suitable for ages 6 and up and it has several fun play modes for your kids to enjoy the process while seeing it grow.

PLAY MODE:

1. GREEN (Swing and Talk)

When you wake up a baby Rizmo, its head button will turn green which means he's ready to play. Swing your baby Rizmo back and forth, and you will hear him happily speak in Rizmonese.

2. YELLOW (Record Songs)

This mode allows your Rizmo to earn musical points by recording songs. Wait for Rizmo to say, "ready go" then you can sing any song you like which he will sing back to you afterwards.

3. BLUE (Music Maker)

If you want to hear Rizmo make funny sounds then switch to this mode. Move your Rizmo in any directions and you will hear him play musical instruments and funny noise.

4. ORANGE (Rolling Rhythms)

Rizmo does not only make funny sounds but he can sing too! Roll your Rizmo to hear him sing a happy song.

5. PURPLE (Rock-A-Bye-Rizmo)

Just like you, Rizmo needs his rest too. Swing him gently back and forth and your Rizmo will go to sleep.

In order to grow, Rizmo needs a minimum of 25 musical points and 15 recorded songs. You will hear a chime every time you earn a musical point. Rizmo needs some encouragement to successfully evolve, cheer him up when his head button turns white. Once he reached the last stage of transformation, 2 additional modes will be unlocked.

6. PINK (Dance Party)

Turn to this mode if you want to celebrate and party with your Rizmo. Remember that Rizmo loves music so you have to play some tunes and your Rizmo will perform a happy dance!

7. LIGHT BLUE (Color Challenge)

Want to play a fun challenge with Rizmo? This mode is the color challenge game where you need to do some actions that depends on the color he shows.

You can choose your own Rizmo based on color and style. You can choose between Berry, Aqua and Snow but the style will be the surprise. If you choose a pink Rizmo, you will either have a Berry PopStar or a Berry HipHopStar. Blue Rizmo will give you either an Aqua PopStar or an Aqua RockStar and the white Rizmo is either a Snow PopStar or a Snow ElectroStar.

Andie got a Berry PopStar . She loves playing with it because it only took her a week to have a fully transformed Rizmo. It literally needs care and interaction in order to grow. This toy taught Andie a lot of things. One of them is to be patient, because to have a fully grown Rizmo isn't possible in an instant or a day. It takes some time and a lot of waiting and interaction. It also taught her to be responsible and to care for her toys and stuff.

I personally think that this is a great toy because it's not only interactive but it also teaches values.
